RINSE RICE 2 AT 3 TIMES BEFORE USE.
To ensure the great flavor and texture of the rice, add a little more water than normally used for Japanese rice. The ratio is 1.5 cup rice to 2 cups of water or you can adjust the water amount to suit your taste.
In a medium saucepan, bring to a soft boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 10 minutes before serving.
If using electric rice cooker, combine both ingredients or follow individual rice cooker direction per manufacturer.
